Turkey is making strides in the fight against climate change by exploring hydrogen as a clean energy solution. TÃœBÄ°TAK (The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey) is currently working on two projects – the “HYSouth Marmara Hydrogen Valley Project” and the “South Marmara Hydrogen Coast Platform Guided Project” – to promote hydrogen usage in the country.

Avaada Group announced on Wednesday that Brookfield Renewables will invest up to $1 billion in the company, which will be used to finance green hydrogen and green ammonia projects in India. Avaada, boasting a 4GW renewable energy portfolio, has also raised $1.07 billion as part of its ongoing $1.3-billion fundraising effort.

Woodside and Keppel Data Centres Explore Liquid Hydrogen Supply for Singapore

Woodside Energy and Keppel Data Centres have entered a non-binding Heads of Agreement (HOA) to study the feasibility of supplying liquid hydrogen from Woodside’s facilities, including the proposed H2Perth, to Singapore. The HOA sets the stage for joint development of commercial principles for hydrogen supply chain agreements, potentially providing Keppel Data Centres with around 1000 tpd of liquid hydrogen by 2030.
