Andreas Beckers, CEO of the German company thyssenkrupp, said the company is currently working on a memorandum of understanding with the Egyptian Ministry of Electricity to create a green hydrogen plant, as well as developing a program to develop young talent from different universities to give them an entrepreneurial spirit.

The technology group Wärtsilä has received its first order for newbuild methanol-fuelled engines. A new Offshore Wind Installation Vessel (WIV) being built for Dutch contracting company Van Oord at Yantai CIMC Raffles shipyard in China will be powered by five Wärtsilä 32 engines capable of operating with methanol.
