China: First Hydrogen Station Opened in Zhejiang Province by Houpu

On October 15, the first hydrogen refueling station in Zhejiang Province, which was contracted by EPC , was officially put into operation. The first hydrogen fuel cell bus line in Zhejiang Province was launched simultaneously. 

Jiashan Shantong Refueling and Hydrogen Station is located beside Jiashan Passenger Transport Center. It covers an area of 2,784 square meters.

Air Liquide and Houpu Opening Hydrogen Station in China

The project was contracted by EPC Clean Energy Co., Ltd. EPC, and introduced into service with the help of advanced process design by Air Liquide, which greatly improved the high safety and reliability of the hydrogen refueling station. The station is equipped with two hydrogen refueling pumps to simultaneously refuel four vehicles. Two 500kg/d compressors can continuously supply 1000kg of hydrogen per day.

The operation of Jiashan Shantong Refueling and Hydrogen Station marked the official start of an integrated hydrogen refueling station with the cooperation of international companies such as Air Liquide.

Air Liquide Houpu has designed the station and Air Liquide will provide the hydrogen to supply 25 public buses per day.
Houpu said “In the future, Houpu will continue to strengthen its resource allocation and business development in the hydrogen energy business, accelerate the formation of hydrogen energy infrastructure industry manufacturing, core key technologies and spare parts research and development and localization production capacity, and actively promote and market domestic hydrogen energy.
