Doosan Drone Unveiling

At the recent 2019 Drone Show Korea held in Bexco, Busan, Doosan Mobility Innovation unveiled a hydrogen fuel cell drone that can fly for more than two hours.

Unlike the short flight times of 10-30 minutes using lithium battery technology, the Doosan hydrogen fuel pack allows for over 2 hours of flight time and less than 10 minutes of charging time.

This is the first time that the company has showcased its Mobility hydrogen fuel cell drone in Korea.

The company unveiled its fuel cell for the first time at a U.S. drone trade show in September 2018.

Doosan Mobility Innovation CEO Lee Doo-sun said, “Doosan’s hydrogen fuel cell power pack, which was developed based on reliable fuel cell technology, can shorten the short flight time of 10 to 30 minutes, which was the limit of existing battery drones, to more than two hours.” “We will continue to lead the drones market by expanding our hydrogen supply network and customized solutions and building mobile apps, IoT-based drone digital platforms.”
