Hy Hybrid Energy GOLDI Mobility and Green H2 Form Partnership to Collaborate on Green Hydrogen Production

Green H2, a division of EIEC located in Suzhou, China is an engineering company with expertise in providing integrated solutions for industrial gas generating & treatment and storage related industries.

With a team of experienced experts and pioneers in gas industries, Green H2 provides one stop solution for customized gas generating equipment manufacturing and service. Green H2 will leverage experience with world-class hydrogen generators deployed around the world, in conjunction with other sub-vendors as the early adopter of Green Hydrogen Production in Hungary, clearly demonstrating that local green hydrogen generation is viable right now. GOLDI and Hy-Hybrid will work together with Green H2 to explore Green Hydrogen Production solutions for the GOLDiON project.

  • Budapest: Hy-Hybrid Energy (Hy-Hybrid), GOLDI Mobility Kft (GOLDI) and The Green H2 division of Eason Industrial Engineering Co., Ltd. (EIEC) signed MoU to collaborate on green hydrogen production in Hungary.
  • Hy-Hybrid will evaluate the Total Cost of Ownership, TCO (EUR/kg_H2) for green hydrogen production using local renewable electricity (solar, wind) tariffs in Hungary including CAPEX for 25 – 100 Nm3/hr electrolyser units from Green H2
  • GOLDI to open-up discussions with relevant authorities/interested parties for the setup of Green Hydrogen Production facility and establish hydrogen uptake requirements for GOLDiON project
  • Green H2 provides support for hydrogen generation system compatible with EU standards/directives which includes complete installation, commissioning at GOLDI’s local facility in Hungary

Under the cooperation model, Hy-Hybrid will evaluate the Total Cost of Ownership, TCO (EUR/kg_H2) for green hydrogen production in Hungary using renewable electricity from solar and wind energy. GOLDI will establish the hydrogen uptake requirements for their future fuel cell electric buses (Phase-2), including the first prototype bus, currently under development (Phase-1) within the GOLDiON project. Green H2 will provide hydrogen electrolyser, meeting hydrogen demand, compatible with EU standards/directives, including complete installation and commissioning.

Dr. Naveed Akhtar, CEO, Hy-Hybrid Energy says: “Over the past few months we have been exchanging dialogues with various potential suppliers for the Green Hydrogen Production solutions in Hungary. We are pleased to cooperate with Green H2, EIEC as their electrolysers meet EU standards and are quite competitive.”
