Lifan Industry Joins Wuhan Tiger to Produce Hydrogen Fuel Cell Powered Vehicles

Chinese carmaker Lifan Industry recently announced that it plans to develop and produce hydrogen fuel cell powered vehicles.

The announced agreement will include Chongqing Geoscience Industrial Technology Research Institute as well as Wuhan Tiger Fuel Cell Vehicles. 

As part of the agreement Lifan will provide prototype hydrogen cars, Wuhan Tiger will R&D the fuel cell system and the Chongqing Geoscience Industrial Technology Research Institute will support the project with funding and various technologies.

Chongqing Geoscience Industrial Technology Research Institute also recently announced a deal with a Chinese local car rental company in the Nan’an district of Chongqing in order to begin the first hydrogen car sharing project in the region.
