The winners of the 2023 Green Good Design Sustainability Award in the Green Transportation category include the Namx Huv, a hydrogen-powered SUV.
The award, presented by The Chicago Athenaeum, lauds the innovative and sustainable design solutions developed by Pininfarina, the design company behind Namx Huv.
The SUV is partially powered by removable capsules, offering a seamless, carbon-free mobility experience. As the world’s first vehicle partially run by a patented removable tank system, it introduces a new paradigm of clean mobility and aims to make hydrogen fuel more accessible. The Namx Huv is a product of collaboration between Pininfarina and the DE LUSSAC design studio.
The Green Good Design Sustainability Award is a prestigious reward that aims to bestow international recognition to those outstanding individuals, companies, organizations, governments and institutions – together with their products, services, ideas and concepts – that have forwarded exceptional thinking and inspired greater progress toward a healthier and more sustainable world. The design program is organised by the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design in collaboration with the European Centre for Architecture, Art, Design and Urban Studies.
