Twelve cities in Romania will test the Solaris Urbino 12 hydrogen bus for their public transport, the Polish producer of public transport vehicles announced.
This hydrogen fuel cell-powered bus will undergo a 2-month tour in Cluj-Napoca, Târgu Mureş, Braşov, Sfântu Gheorghe, Iaşi, Galaţi, Constanța, Bucharest, Ramnicu Vâlcea, Craiova, Timișoara and Oradea.
The tour is part of a partnership with Linde Gaz Romania, which provides the fuel for the tour.
German, the Netherlands, Italy, Sweden, and Austria have ordered Solaris’ Urbino 12 hydrogen buses. Cologne, Germany, and Bolzano, Italy, have already used hydrogen fuel cell buses.
