Designed and assembled in France, this electric bike is powered by a hydrogen fuel cell.

A truly innovative solution entirely detached from fossil fuels, it is at the cutting edge of technology and perhaps represents the benchmark of tomorrow for bicycle journeys.

As of today, the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis is experimenting with the use of this hydrogen bicycle with its agents for their business trips. This full-scale test will be carried out over 6 weeks, 10 units will be made available by ENGIE Solutions within the shared park of the City of Nice and the Metropolis. It will make it possible to identify whether this mode of travel is compatible with the needs of metropolitan agents who will return to use and functionality.

This approach once again reflects the desire to concretely initiate the energy transition and green growth in our territory. Much more than an originality, it is a question of preparing today the revolution of tomorrow as regards displacements.

The experiment will allow ENGIE Solutions to deploy a mobility offer for alternative fuels adapted to the needs of cities and communities and to offer solutions according to usage in all areas of sustainable mobility ( Natural Gas Vehicle , hydrogen, electric). This approach is in line with the Multi-year Energy Programming in favor of the diversification of the energy mix.
